Over the last few years, a group of people has learned about Chief’s case and has come to the conclusion that he is innocent and deserves a new guilt-phase trial. We are lawyers, Native Americans, reporters, academics and others who believe Chief’s case is a miscarriage of justice. This website was created by that community, with the goal of raising awareness about Chief’s case and ultimately winning his freedom.
